SIX YEARS!?

I know, I'm surprised I haven't thrown in the towel either!

Local Geoweasel Screening

There's going to be a live Geoweasel screening at a local concert this weekend. (I don't know why it's at the middle school; everyone hates our middle school) They sprung the idea of screening Geoweasel episodes there on me just this week, so I'm rushing around at the last minute to put stuff together. It's the first public appearance, so even though it's minor, I figured what the hell. And hey, it's on the show's six-year anniversary!

Site Update!....Finally!

The main page on Geoweasel.net has finally been updated and a new episodes page has been added. Links to the forum and this blog were also added. As you can see, there are a few things that...don't exist yet, but they'll come soon. But I gotta make new episodes first!
Please let me know of any broken/incorrect links. I programmed this pretty fast and even though I tested most of it, I'm still paranoid something might be wrong. Thanks!

Who The Hell's Chef Bob?

I found this while cleaning out my room today. I have no recollection of this character or picture at all. This was probably his only appearance, considering he looks...you know...exactly the same as Nar. 2004 was one of my dumbest years.

Truly Lost Episodes

I was digging through files on my old computer because I was looking for something I could've sworn I had animated and never finished. The specific thing I was looking for, which was something about Weas and a stolen item, was not found, but I DID find a ton of Flash files for Geoweasel episodes that contained only title cards followed by credits (save for one). Here are the said title cards, and the dates of each (according to when I finished writing the script for each):

(November 5, 2006)

(November 27, 2006)

(December 5, 2006)

The only one that featured any animation was the last one, and only one line was animated, and it was just a static image with a mouth-loop, to boot:

Interestingly, the music used for the title cards is the original version of Decompress Criminology. I had planned to use that for the credits sequence for every episode following An Apple A Day, completely forgetting that these three episodes existed...kind of. Not only that, but all of these episodes had scripts, Naragara Falls had a few voices recorded, and Game Over was recorded in full. There are also other episodes that I wrote and recorded, such as Lemonade Standoff, Dimension Of The 13th Floor, an episode for the 5-year anniversary, and the Valentine special. Add on the other incomplete cartoons, Monster Rock and Easter Egg Stunt, and we have a total of 9 episodes that could have been made over the past year and a half (or so). I don't know if I'll ever return to any of these. It's possible, cuz I'm lazy, and if the voices don't sound too off, I can still use everything. But for now, these cartoons are victims of poor work ethic.

Nar Has Spread His Seed

Mitri's not the only Geoweasel character who can be everywhere and nowhere! Let's take a look at some of Nar's most mysterious appearances.

He's made some TOTALLY REAL cameos in some newspaper comics, for one:
First it was Sherman's Lagoon....

...then Frank and Ernest (twice in the same strip no less!)....

...and even Baby Blues! He doesn't look very welcome there, though.

He was even featured in animation long before his Geoweasel debut:
His first gig was the one-shot character Yanni the Janitor (or Yanitor) in Dexter's Lab circa 1997. It's totally him! That nose is unmistakable!

He even invaded somebody's breakfast:
Don't see it? Here! Lemme help!

Truly amazing, and truly proof that Geoweasel is totally taking the world by storm. And to anyone who didn't pick up on the fact that I'm just making some fun here, suck it.
Though that pastry DOES really look like him...

Wait For It...

My blog is back, but the Super Geoweasel Internet Team is still working on construction of it to make it look AWESOME. And by awesome, I mean it's going to look exactly the way it did before. Maybe a little better. I'm not sure where the old blog went, but unfortunately, I cannot recover any of the old posts. I don't think there was anything that great there, so don't worry about it. Check back soon! In fact, maybe later today, because I have some totally legitimate Nar cameos to tell you about. Okay, later!
