Oh well...

Well, I only mentioned this to a small number of people as it was in progress, but I submitted a cartoon for Too Art For TV 4, but I got a letter back today and unfortunately I didn't get in. It's alright though. I'm a little disappointed, naturally, but as weird as it sounds, it's kind of cool to get a formal letter of rejection, heh. It's the only thing I've ever submitted to before outside of the internet, so it was pretty exciting even to do that. There are plenty more festivals out there I can try my hand in too. But I just wanted to thank my friends online who wished me luck and who commented on me not getting in. My family, on the other hand, didn't really seem to care as much. Oh well.

He definitely has plenty reasons to be. Maybe it’s his short-sleeved turtle-neck. Maybe it’s the fact that he has no ears, or really short shorts. But it’s probably the fact that his nose looks like a misshapen ass.

Well, MyToons.com unfortunately closed up shop. I knew they were in kind of a bad state because they had laid off a number of people a couple months back but I didn't think they'd just disappear. At least not so sudden. So Geoweasel episodes are no longer available for digital download. Also, now that I think of it, that puts me back at square one with all the DVD whatnot. The shirts and all are still available though, if you want any of those. If I sell about 80 more, I can buy a DSi!

But this is the first "proper" blog entry I've done in nearly two months, mainly because this is the first thing to happen that's kind of...almost worth mentioning since the Superjail screening (which I also never properly followed up on, aside from some photos and Tumblr posts). And there's nothing of interest about to happen in the way of my cartoons in the immediate future either because I currently have kidney stones once again and am sick alongside that. Needless to say, I'm not up for a whole lot. The next episode is recorded and ready to be animated, it's just a matter of doing so. And there is something else that I may be doing, but I'm not going to bother going into detail in case nothing comes of it. Then it's like nothing happened at all! Cool!
